Bari Cathedral, dedicated to San Sabino, is one of Bari Vecchia's major Romanesque churches. It is older than the Basilica di San Nicola, though much of what visitors see today reflects later rebuilding and Baroque-era changes.
The cathedral is worth visiting as part of a walk through the old town's dense lanes, especially for its restrained stone exterior, crypt, and long role in Bari's religious life.
