The best-stocked of the Corso Rossellino cheese shops, run by the Sclavi family and offering tastings of over a dozen versions of local pecorino. Try the fresh cheese (sweet, very mild), the semi-aged (the classic Tuscan picnic cheese), the gran riserva aged in walnut leaves, and the unusual versions matured in Vinaccia or covered in chestnut leaves.
Vacuum-pack tasting boxes are easy to take home and last several weeks unopened. The shop also sells the local saffron (from San Quirico d'Orcia), honey, and white truffles in season.
