Pratolino is 12 kilometres north of Florence along the Via Bolognese (state road 65), a winding route that climbs into the hills above the city. By car, allow around 20 minutes from the centre of Florence.
By public transport, ATAF bus line 25/A runs from Florence (departing from Piazza San Marco) along the Via Bolognese to Pratolino and beyond. The journey takes around 30 minutes; the stop for the Parco Demidoff is directly in front of the park entrance. Services run roughly every 30 minutes on weekdays.
