The thermal baths are the main draw. Most of the large spa hotels open their pools and wellness facilities to day visitors, which makes it easy to spend a few hours without booking a room. The outdoor pools are the most pleasant — warm water, the Euganean Hills as a backdrop, and considerably fewer people than the bigger resort complexes at nearby Abano Terme.
Beyond the baths, the Museo Nazionale Atestino holds excavated material from the Roman-era spa, including votive offerings left at the Fons Aponi spring. It is a small collection but gives a sense of how long people have been coming here for the waters.
