Museo Civico Luigi Bailo

Treviso's main art museum, housed in a former Jesuit monastery and reopened after a long restoration in 2015. The collection's central holding is the work of Arturo Martini, the early-20th-century Trevigian sculptor — terracottas, bronzes, and small studies that show his shift from classicism to a stranger, more primitive style.

There are also frescoes detached from local churches, work by Tommaso da Modena, and Venetian masters from Cima da Conegliano onwards. The building itself — vaulted brick, white walls, restrained lighting — is part of the pleasure.
