Alekšupīte Waterfall drops beside the old mill building just off Baznīcas iela. It is modest, but it explains a lot about Kuldīga: water power, mills, houses built close to the stream, and the little channels that gave the town its "Latvian Venice" nickname.
It is worth a few minutes while walking between the old town and the Venta River. The sound of falling water in the middle of the streets is part of the place.
