Pastarins Museum

Pastarins Museum is a rural open-air museum based around the world of Latvian writer Ernests Birznieks-Upitis and his best-known children's character, Pastarins. The visit is hands-on rather than formal: bread baking, butter churning, field work, games, countryside food and a nature trail all help explain rural life in this part of Latvia.
