Slokenbeka Manor is a fortified manor complex near Tukums, first mentioned in the late 15th century. It was built to guard the area around Tukums and later passed through several Baltic German noble families before becoming state property.
Today the complex houses the Latvian Road Museum, which gives the manor a more specific purpose than a simple restored estate. It pairs well with Durbe Manor and Tukums old town for a compact circuit of the area's history.
