The observation tower east of town is a simple metal structure, but it helps explain why the regional park exists. From the platform you can see the mix of lakes, forest, wetlands, and rolling glacial ground that surrounds Tytuvėnai.
It is best as a short add-on by car or bike. On a clear day, go before or after the monastery rather than making it the whole outing.
