Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is the small urban symbol of Veles, standing on the west bank of the Vardar. It began as an Ottoman watchtower and later became the town clock, the sort of practical monument that quietly defines a centre.

It is not large, but it is worth finding because it places you in the older fabric of the city. From here you can start wandering uphill through the streets rather than treating Veles as a station stop.
