Vittoriosa is easily reached from Valletta by ferry — the Dghajsa water taxi service crosses the Grand Harbour in a few minutes and is the most atmospheric way to arrive, with views of both waterfronts as you cross. Ferries run from the Valletta waterfront (Grand Harbour Marina area) to Vittoriosa's landing stage near the marina. The crossing takes about ten minutes and is inexpensive.
By road, Vittoriosa is about 4 km from Valletta. Bus routes from Valletta serve Cospicua (Bormla), which is the main bus terminus for the Three Cities area, from which Vittoriosa is a short walk. A taxi or ride-share from Valletta takes about fifteen minutes and costs a few euros. There is parking available near the main gate, which is useful if you are coming by car, but the streets inside the town walls are too narrow for vehicles.
