Tipova is best reached by car from Chișinău — the drive takes about an hour and a half, heading south on the M3 toward Căușeni and then taking local roads toward the Nistru. The last few kilometres to the monastery are on a rough unpaved road; a vehicle with reasonable ground clearance makes the approach easier. Taxis from Chișinău can be arranged for the day at reasonable rates if you negotiate before departure.
Public transport exists but is slow and involves multiple connections via Căinari. The monastery is not viable as a public-transport day trip from the capital unless you have a full day and a high tolerance for minibus logistics.
