The Vischpoort is the only surviving medieval gate of Harderwijk. It stands near the old fish market, where the town's waterfront history is easiest to picture.
It is a small sight, but a good one. The gate marks the old edge of the city and gives a walk from the centre to the water a clear historical hinge.
