The student bar on the Hooglandse Kerkgracht, named for the late Motörhead singer and decorated accordingly. The crowd is overwhelmingly Leiden students, the music is loud, the beer is cheap, and the place is busy late on weekday nights when the rest of the town has gone quiet.
It's not for everyone, but for a slice of Leiden student life it's the obvious choice. Open until 4am on weekends.
