Supphellebreen is a dramatic glacier arm near Fjærland, usually described in upper and lower sections with a rock gap between them. Ice from the Jostedalsbreen plateau feeds the glacier high above the valley before broken blocks rebuild the lower tongue.
It is less famous than Bøyabreen, but worth considering if you are tracing the glaciers around Fjærland and want another close look at the ice landscape.
