Røst Airport

Røst Airport (IATA: RET) is a short-strip regional airport on Røstlandet, the main island. It handles small turboprop aircraft — primarily the Dash 8 series flown by Widerøe on the Bodø route. The airport is small enough that you can see the entire operation from the single terminal building: check-in, security, and the runway are all within a minute's walk of each other.

Flights to Bodø run daily, with additional frequencies in summer. The route is the quickest way in and out of Røst, taking just over 20 minutes, and far less punishing in winter conditions than the long ferry crossing.
