Moss Station on the Østfold Line has regular trains to Oslo Central (about one hour). The station is in the northern part of town. Buses also connect Moss with Oslo and the wider Østfold region. The Moss–Horten Ferry crosses the Oslofjord to Horten in Vestfold, a useful option if you are driving south along the west side of the fjord — it saves a long drive around via the Oslofjord Tunnel.
