Kjenndalsbreen is the quieter glacier excursion from Loen, reached by following Lodalen along Lovatnet into the valley. The drive is part of the appeal: blue-green water, mountain walls, farms, and a road that keeps pulling you deeper into the landscape.
From the parking area, the glacier viewpoint is a short walk. Keep to marked areas and do not push close to the ice; glacier fronts and meltwater rivers are unstable.
