Bedzin Castle is a medieval royal castle in the neighboring town of Bedzin, close enough to Sosnowiec for an easy side trip by public transport. Its stone towers and walls are among the more visible historic landmarks in the Dabrowa Basin.
The castle works well as a half-day stop for visitors who want older history beyond Sosnowiec's industrial and 19th-century sights.
