The Church of São Vicente is one of Abrantes' main old-town landmarks. Its exterior is plain in the Portuguese way, but the scale and position make it worth folding into a walk between the castle and the lower streets.
It is most useful as part of the town's rhythm: castle, church, square, viewpoint, and another steep lane down toward the river.
