The Tavira Inn Jazz Bar is one of the few late-evening spots in central Tavira with live music. The bar is small and informal, with local and occasional visiting musicians playing most evenings from around 9pm. The repertoire is predominantly jazz and bossa nova, which suits the warm evenings and river-town atmosphere well.
Drinks prices are moderate by Algarve standards. The bar fills up late by Portuguese standards — before 11pm it is often quiet; after midnight it is usually the liveliest spot in the town centre. Go late or not at all.
