Rem Koolhaas's 2005 concert hall — a fractured white concrete block dropped onto a traffic island in Boavista. The main auditorium has glass end-walls so the city becomes backdrop to the performance. Guided tours run when there's no rehearsal; even without a tour, the building's worth a look from outside.
