The Silversmith's House on Strada Dornei is one of the best-preserved 16th-century town houses in northern Transylvania. The stone window frames and the doorway, carved with floral and grotesque motifs, are unusually elaborate for the region — the house was probably the showpiece residence of a wealthy silversmith from the Saxon guilds.
The building now houses a small museum of decorative arts run by the county museum service. Interesting more for the building itself than the collection, but free to visit and ten minutes well spent.
