The fortified church is the main medieval survival in the centre, a Gothic church ringed by defensive walls. It is less dramatic than the great fortified churches near Brașov, but it tells the same regional story: faith, town life and defence wrapped into one complex.
Include it on a walk between the museum and the central civic buildings. The exterior is usually the most reliable part of the visit.
