A guesthouse-restaurant in Călimănești serving traditional Wallachian dishes in a garden setting beside the Olt. The menu changes with the seasons: grilled trout from the river in summer, bean soup and braised lamb in autumn. The house wine is rough but drinkable, and the tuica at the end of a meal is the real thing. A good stop for lunch before or after visiting Cozia Monastery, which is less than two kilometres upstream.
