Bar La Almadraba is a small tapas bar in the old town with an almost exclusively local clientele outside high summer — the kind of place where the bar staff know everyone and the television in the corner is showing football. The tapas are cheap and generous: a glass of cold Manzanilla comes with a small plate of jamón or cheese without being asked.
The interior is traditional — tiled floor, wooden bar, photographs of the tuna harvest on the walls. In summer the bar gets busier with visitors, but it does not change its character significantly. It opens from around midday and runs straight through until late. For a drink before dinner or a genuine tapa before heading to a restaurant, it works well.
