From the Mondragon Palace, a trail drops down into the Tajo gorge — the dramatic cleft that splits Ronda in two. The path winds through terraced fields with views up to the Puente Nuevo and across the surrounding sierra. Several trails branch off, all with extraordinary perspectives on the bridge and the sheer cliff walls. Allow an hour or so for the descent and return.
