The less-visited neighbour of the Ordesa valley, Añisclo is a narrower and wilder gorge carved by the Bellós river through pale limestone. It lacks the dramatic vertical walls of Ordesa but has a rawer, quieter character — fewer people, denser vegetation, and a sense that you're somewhere the tourist buses don't reach.
The main trail follows the river upstream from the Añisclo car park. The lower gorge is accessible to anyone; the upper reaches get rocky and require more scrambling. Access is from the Añisclo road off the A-138 highway south of the park.
