The cliffs near Luces and the Llastres lighthouse are part of Asturias' dinosaur coast. A path leads down toward sandstone beds where three-toed dinosaur footprints and a sauropod trackway can still be seen near the base of the cliffs. Go at low tide, wear shoes with grip, and treat the rock as a fragile outdoor museum rather than a playground.
