Palma de Mallorca airport (PMI) is one of the busiest in Spain and is well served year-round by low-cost carriers from across Europe — easyJet, Ryanair, Vueling, and Eurowings all fly here, with British Airways and Iberia offering scheduled services. From the UK, flights from London take around 2 hours 25 minutes; from most of central Europe under three hours. The airport sits about 8 km east of Palma and is connected to the city by frequent buses (line A1, around 5 euros) and a 20-minute taxi ride.
By sea, ferries run from Barcelona, Valencia, and Denia on the Spanish mainland, operated mainly by Baleària and Trasmediterránea. Crossings take between four and eight hours depending on the route and whether you choose a fast ferry or an overnight service. There are also year-round connections to the other Balearic islands of Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera.
