Sa Llonja

Sa Llonja occupies a prime position at Passeig Moll 1, right on the edge of the harbour with an unobstructed view across the inlet. The menu focuses squarely on fish and seafood — the kitchen doesn't try to be all things — and the quality reflects that focus. Fresh catches arrive daily, and the preparations are straightforward enough to let the ingredients speak: grilled fish, rice dishes cooked in fish stock, shellfish served with good local olive oil.

It is a reliably honest restaurant rather than a destination in its own right, but that suits Porto Cristo well. The terrace fills quickly on warm evenings, and the combination of sea air, decent wine and well-cooked seafood is hard to improve on. The service is brisk and the prices are fair for a harbourfront location. Go for lunch rather than dinner if you want a slightly more relaxed experience.
