Quince sits right at the marina, with terrace tables that look out over the harbour and the fishing boats moored alongside. The cooking draws from Mallorca's larder but isn't constrained by it — there are nods to Latin American and Asian flavour combinations that give the menu a bit more energy than the typical tourist-waterfront formula. The Mallorcan red prawns, when available, are worth ordering regardless of price; the fish stew has earned a loyal following among regulars.
The location near the catamaran stop means it can get busy at midday when boat-trip passengers disembark, but the service keeps pace well. In the evening the pace settles and the harbour views are at their best. It's a place where the food and the setting reinforce each other — neither alone would be quite as good. Booking ahead is strongly recommended in summer. Address: Carrer del Verí 1.
