Aquadiver is the main water park for Platja d'Aro, set a little inland from the beach resort and aimed squarely at families. It has the expected mix of slides, wave pools, children's areas and sunbathing space, making it a practical break from beach days when the heat is high and children need something more structured.
This is not a cultural sight, but it is a useful resort attraction and a good fit for the Costa Brava in summer. Go early in peak season if you want shorter queues and a choice of shaded spots; outside the hottest months, check opening dates before building plans around it.
