Masella ski resort

Masella adjoins La Molina on the north flank of the Tossa d'Alp and forms the other half of the Alp 2500 ski domain. It is the smaller and quieter of the pair, with a denser tree cover and a reputation for excellent night skiing — its main pistes are floodlit until 9pm in winter, the only large-scale night skiing in Spain.

The lifts run from Masella's base at about 1,600 metres up to the 2,535-metre summit of the Tossa d'Alp. From the top the view crosses the entire Cerdanya valley and into the high peaks of Andorra. The resort is fifteen minutes by car from Puigcerdà.
