Es Codolar

Small cove tucked below the Vila Vella walls and rocky cliffs.

Es Codolar is the small beach on the far side of the old walls, reached by steps and short lanes from the Vila Vella. It feels more enclosed than Platja Gran, with cliffs behind it and the old fortifications above.

It once served as Tossa's natural harbour, and a few fishing boats still give the cove a working edge. Space is limited, so treat it as a swim-and-sit cove rather than a whole-day beach.
