The nearest airports are Alicante (100 kilometres south) and Valencia (100 kilometres north). Both are served by European low-cost carriers. Rental cars are the most practical way to reach Dénia, though buses connect to both cities — the service from Valencia is more frequent.
By ferry, Baleària operates daily sailings from Dénia to Ibiza (around 3 hours) and Formentera, making Dénia a convenient departure point for the Balearic Islands. The ferry terminal is at the port, a short walk from the old town.
Within the Costa Blanca, the narrow-gauge TRAM railway connects Dénia south to Benidorm and Alicante — a slow but scenic route along the coast. It is not fast enough for practical commuting but is a pleasant way to travel between resorts.
