Paseo Marítimo

Seafront promenade running the length of the village

The paseo runs along the seafront from the harbour north towards Playa La Jaquita, a flat tile-paved walk of about a kilometre. It is the social heart of the village in the evenings — locals walk it after dinner, children scoot up and down, and a few benches give a place to sit and watch the sun drop into the Atlantic. Bars and ice-cream places spill onto the wider sections.

In late afternoon you can often see La Gomera silhouetted across the strait. The path continues north past low cliffs and small rocky coves; the walking is easy and you can extend the route along the coastal track for another hour or so.
