Brändaholm and Dragsö show Karlskrona at its most summery: red wooden cottages, small beaches, and quiet paths just outside the naval city centre. Brändaholm's cluster of little houses is especially photogenic, a compact version of the Swedish seaside ideal.
Come by bike, bus, or on foot from Trossö. In warm weather the beaches make this more than a photo stop; in winter it is still a pleasant walk with open water and island views.
