Järvzoo is a Nordic wildlife park built around a long wooden walkway through forested enclosures. The animals are the species that define northern Scandinavia in the imagination: bear, wolf, lynx, wolverine, musk ox, arctic fox, and owls.
It is not a quick petting-zoo stop. The setting is half the point, especially for travellers with children or anyone who wants a close look at animals that are hard to see in the wild.
