Katterjåkk is the quieter neighbour just east of Riksgränsen, also on the railway. It works as a low-key base for the same mountain country, with winter skiing and summer walking close at hand.
It is not a separate must-see village, but it rounds out a Riksgränsen stop nicely. The short rail hop, open fell views, and calmer feel make it useful when the resort itself is busy.
