Katedralskolan

Katedralskolan is one of the oldest still-operating secondary schools in Sweden, founded in the cathedral chapter in the 12th century and refounded as a Latin grammar school in 1641. The current main building is a handsome neo-Renaissance pile from 1871, with a clock tower visible from much of the town.

The school is not open to casual visitors, but the exterior and the small park around it are worth the short walk from the cathedral.
