Smålands Museum is the city's main cultural stop and a good introduction to the region. Its collections cover local history, archaeology, craft, and the glassmaking tradition that made this part of Sweden famous.
The Swedish Glass Museum is part of the same complex, so this is the best first stop before heading out into Glasriket itself.
