Kristineberg Palace is an 18th-century manor house on western Kungsholmen, built for the merchant Roland Schröder and set in a pleasant park. Parts of the building are now used as a school and residences, so this is mainly an exterior visit.
It is best treated as a quiet architectural stop while walking through Kristineberg rather than a destination in itself. The surrounding green space gives you room to look at the house without feeling as if you are peering into private life.
