Nordingrå Church

The white plastered church at the heart of the village is a typical Norrland country kyrka, the current building dating to 1832 but on a site that has held a wooden church since the thirteenth century. The interior is severe and bright, with a painted barrel ceiling and a fine altarpiece by Pehr Hörberg.

The churchyard surrounding it is one of the prettiest spots in the village, a green oval with views over the surrounding farmland. The old wooden bell tower from the previous church still stands beside it.
