Motta Naluns is the mountain area reached by gondola from Scuol. In winter it is the heart of the local ski area, shared with the neighbouring villages of Ftan and Sent. In summer the same lifts make it easy to reach high walking routes without spending half the day climbing out of the valley.
The skiing is modest by Swiss mega-resort standards, but that is part of the appeal. It feels local, sunny, and tied to the Lower Engadine rather than to a branded resort machine.
