Thermos is one of Geneva's established LGBTQ venues, running in a basement space in Carouge. It draws a mixed crowd from the wider gay community as well as Carouge regulars. The bar upstairs is relaxed; the action downstairs on weekend nights is more concentrated. Not flashy, but consistent and welcoming.
The Carouge location puts it in a neighbourhood with good restaurants and bars nearby, making it easy to combine with a broader evening out in the quarter south of the Arve.
