The toboggan run (Talabfahrt Weglosen) descends from the ski area back down to the valley base at Weglosen, covering over 600 vertical metres of descent. Rental sleds are available at the base and the top; the run is illuminated on certain evenings so that night sledging is also possible.
This is one of the most enjoyable activities at Hoch-Ybrig for families — children who are not yet confident skiers can still experience the thrill of sliding down a mountain. The run passes through forest and open slopes and requires a little steering skill, but nothing technical. Check the resort website for dates when the run is lit for night sessions.
