The Pointe des Mossettes rises to 2,277 metres directly above Les Crosets and is the most accessible peak in the area. A chairlift from the village runs almost to the summit in winter, and the views from the top take in the Dents du Midi across the valley, the high pastures of Chablais, and on a clear day the curve of Lake Geneva to the north.
In summer the same ridge is a popular walking route. From the top you can follow the border path past Lac de Chésery and Lake Vert — a pair of quiet alpine lakes — and loop back down to the village in three to four hours. The terrain is high alpine: short grass, scattered rocks, and the occasional ibex or chamois on the upper slopes.
