Bec du Corbeau

A rocky summit at 1,992 metres in the Chablais Alps, directly above Morgins, that rewards a two-to-three-hour hike with a panoramic view across the Dents du Midi, the Rhône valley, and — on clear days — across to the Mont Blanc massif. The trail begins from the village and climbs steadily through forest and alpine meadow, with the final section on open ridge. No technical scrambling required, but good boots are recommended as the upper slopes can be wet and slippery.

The Bec du Corbeau (Raven's Beak) is primarily a summer hiking objective, though experienced mountain skiers sometimes descend its north-facing slopes in spring when the snowpack is stable.
