The castle and its Polish Museum, the rose gardens along the lakefront, and the wooden bridge to Hurden are the main draws. The old town is small but handsome — the Hauptplatz, the Gothic church, and the medieval streets between them take no more than an hour to explore. The lakeside promenade and the Lindenhof viewpoint are pleasant at any time of day. In summer, lake swimming is possible from the lakeside parks.
